Ideas for a private group like fb but not fb

I have a private group on fb as a childminder. One of my parents is no longer on fb for privacy reasons.

As her dc is with me full time i would really like her to see what her dc is up to.

Anyone any ideas of other apps ways of doing this ?

WhatsApp group? That is what our childminder used - actually would send us WhatsApp individually-she would forward a whole bunch of pictures with comments from time to time to each parent this was 8 years ago so don't know if there is any reason you couldn't do this now.

Whatsapp or one of the apps designed for early years providers although I'm not sure whether you'd need to pay for this?

My friend uses Moment Garden to share pictures of her children with friends/family, that's nice as it gives you a kind of timeline to look back on.

Google/Apple photos also allows private albums you have to allow specific people to view.
