Lump in front of ear?

Iv had a hard lump in front of my ear for around 6 months. I assumed it was ear wax as my ear crackles a lot and hurts. But I’m not sure it is?

Does anyone know what it could be?

Just wondering of you ever found out what this was. Strangely, I've had this for six months myself and it hasn't gone down. I've had two different pharmacists look at it and both advised to just leave it to settle on its own...

Looks like a cyst, I think. I’m not a doctor, but do get cysts.
