Things I’ve done when sleep deprived...

Please tell me the funny things you’ve done when sleep deprived!

DS2 is 4 weeks old and I’m shattered. Just changed his bum before his feed. Feeding him, and my leg goes very warm and wet. I’d cleaned his bum and forgotten to put a fresh nappy on him 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 HOW

DS1 when he was a few weeks old, screaming the house down, I couldn’t remember his name so frantically said “oh no what’s wrong pussycat!!” My DH was helpless and had to remind me what he was called 😬

Also done the standard ones of milk in cupboard, kettle in fridge etc!

Woke up to do a night feed and instead of giving my baby milk, I was putting the bottle into my husbands mouth, thinking he was the baby.

DH came home to find DS had socks on his hands rather than on his feet 🙈 I hadn't even noticed and no idea when or how I had done this!

DH found multiple things in the fridge including the kettle after this he started taking DS first thing in the morning before work as he was terrified of me driving (rightly so DS didn't sleep more than 45 min stretches)

Not as funny as some of these, but when DS was tiny I went through a phase of being convinced he was a girl and his name was Rebecca. Every time I woke up it was a surprise to discover he was actually a boy called Daniel 😂

These are all brilliant and cheered me right up!

@Scottishskifun my 4 week old is only sleeping an hour between feeds at night, thankfully DH left me in bed this morning!
