Hi Mumsnet
I am thinking about getting my little son a scooter. He is only 15 months but he is really attracted to them and I think he will enjoy it long term.
I noticed the brand Micro is the most popular by far. They are more expensive than other brands but my inclination is to think that there must be a reason why everyone gets them. My partner thinks we should explore a cheaper option but I don't want to have to spend the money twice!! any advice?

In my experience, the Micro scooters are worth paying the extra money for. They are very light, smooth and easy to ride and they are very robust - the family I'm working for at the moment have had the same scooter for all three children and it's been passed on to cousins and still going strong. I would go for the one with the adjustable height handlebars if you are buying it for a young toddler, the removable seat thing might be fun too.

Scuttle bug is good for this sort of age range

Get the mini micro. There's a reason they are so popular!
