Some falling out between neighbours on my road has caused us to check ownership with the land registry and it turns out some land is not registered as claimed. And some CFs who moved away 60 years ago have sent someone out of the blue to fence in some unregistered land. They say they are getting a surveyor out and legal ownership claimed for the land.
When my neighbour bought her house 11 years ago it came with a garage and plot of land at the far end of the street. However this isn't reflected on the land registry and I've offered to help her register it ASAP as the CFs are putting up a fence and trying to claim some of the unregistered land, including some of hers.
I've offered to help her do it as she is not confident with legal stuff so now I have to find out how to do it! Really grateful for advice
