Can you recommend shops/brands for a special occasion dress?

I'm getting married soon and don't want to wear a traditional white dress.

I'm looking for something special enough, midi length and not white. Open to which colour (ideally pale summer colours, pastels etc, nothing too in your face).

Any suggestions? Of websites/designers etc.
Budget: perhaps £100-200 but flexible (I don't think I'm really looking in the bridal market as all are white).

So far I have liked the chi chi dresses but colours are too dark. Not a fan of needle and thread.

Reiss and Ted Baker worth a look

John Lewis and Phase Eight have a huge range - a lot of them a bit middle aged but it’s worth trawling through for the ones that aren’t

Brand Alley is definitely worth a look for discounted options

Pretty Dress Company if you like slightly retro

Oh yes and Wolf & Badger if you want something edgy or on trend

I like Reiss, Whistles and some of Hobbs dresses for special occasions

Thank you everyone for the suggestions - I have looked at most of these but not found something I like. I'd like something that's all one colour (no prints etc), quite like the fit and flare style.

I like:
www.chichiclothing.com/collections/midi-dresses/products/chi-chi-genisis-dress (ideally not covered up neck, have a lovely necklace I'd like to wear)
www.chichiclothing.com/collections/midi-dresses/products/chi-chi-athenia-dress (too dark though)
www.chichiclothing.com/collections/midi-dresses/products/chi-chi-raelyn-dress (again too dark and neck covered, but like the fit and flare style)

Don't know what size you are, but what about this one (currenty available in 10 or 12)?:

coronabeer · 28/04/2021 09:26

OK, just noticed you are a size 8. I think Coast dresses do come up a bit small, so maybe a 10 would be ok?

Size 8 is currently available, but more expensice:
www.coastfashion.com/bardot-neck-embroidered-midi-dress/ACC99205-1.html?color=107

coronabeer · 28/04/2021 09:28

Or there's this one:
www.coastfashion.com/v-neck-pleated-skirt-sequin-midi-dress/ACC00193.html?color=107

Anyway, back to work...

Coast or Monsoon, though Monsoon come up huge so you might need to downsize!
