I am not sure what to think here. Take a look at the 3d virtual tour and zoom in.

I wonder if he is single? Grin

Picture 2 ...... erm, what is that to the left of the door (the flesh coloured, approx 10" long item Grin)

zen1 · 23/04/2021 17:15

Quirky. I quite like the big clock.

GiveTheGirlAGun · 23/04/2021 18:34

Ooo. It's a loofah.

I think it's brilliant. £29,000?!! That's half a hallway where I live

Rhannion · 23/04/2021 19:49

That flat made me feel sad.

Burn0ut · 23/04/2021 20:05

Some areas are almost like a work of art. I think the Glasgow modern art museum should buy it with everything in it and recreate it as an installation.

Burn0ut · 23/04/2021 20:07

It is intensely personal and this person has a fantastic 'eye'.

BaaHumbugg · 23/04/2021 20:21

"This fridge was re-tiled by English Joe"! It's pretty insane OP! How do you find such a flat? Are you going to make an offer? Grin

TheDoctorDances · 23/04/2021 20:46

I rather like it. Someone’s managed to make it their home and it’s unique.

+10 for being a David Bowie fanatic.

I hope the new owner lets them stay.

Hellocatshome · 23/04/2021 21:00

I like it, they obviously like their things and have filled their home with things they find interesting and enjoy. I also feel a bitnsorry for sitting tennants because their home gets photographed and advertised for all to see (and judge) even though they get nothing out of it apart from the worry over what their new landlord will do with the property.

GiveTheGirlAGun · 23/04/2021 21:18

@BaaHumbugg I play a game with myself. "Tonight, I'm moving to Glasgow, but I've not got £100,000,000 to spare so I'm going to filter low to high." Sometimes I'm moving to London in a huge mansion, other times I'm renting in Cornwall. I'm quite a sad person!

RE the flat. I think the person who lives there must have been there a while, and they must be into rock n roll. There was a stereo system there so I hope he listens to Bowie non stop with his beer and cigarettes and has a great time. The photos reminds me of my own bedroom when growing up. I had a shrine to Danny out of the Wildhearts. I still have it. It's just not on the wall. I may just stick it back up in my dressing room. I wonder also whether the tenant is sending a message with the messages. His efforts have not gone unnoticed by us lot.

@GiveTheGirlAGun I play what can I buy in different parts of the country for the same price I paid for my 3 bed terrace in the North East? The answer normally is not very much.

GiveTheGirlAGun · 23/04/2021 21:39

@Hellocatshome Yep. Similar position here, I can't afford much anywhere south of Sheffield. It is nice to dream.

Great game! I might try it one day!

CryptoFascist · 23/04/2021 23:53

I like the collection of barbeque sauces. I think they seem an interesting and self realized person who's fully made the place work for them. Feel a bit bad that all their stuff is on display and a little culpable for having looked, though.

Whereisthewarmth · 24/04/2021 00:39

Oh, not getting why David Bowie name is being sullied here!

IWantAllTheDogsInTheWorld · 24/04/2021 01:38

I hope whoever buys this allows the tenant to stay there, it's obviously their "home". I feel quite sad looking at this and thinking they might be forced out so the new landlord can turn it into a very small two bedroom flat rather than a good sized one bed.
