Have you replaced your bannister?

Has anyone had their bannister done. How much was it? Google doesn't tell me much.

How about the glass panels are they very expensive?

I know it can vary like kitchens but what is a ball park figure? I have no idea.

I have put this on the DiY forum but there isn't much traffic.

I've just done mine with glass. A company called stairfurb for the made to measure glass and oak base and handrails. DIY fit. We bought when they had a 40% off sale. They have a calculator online to input your sizes and gives the exact cost of materials

I know this thread started some time ago but OP did you go ahead. We are looking to do the same what is stairfurbs quality like?
