So sad, only 65 years old.

He was my first crush - I adored him when I was 11.

He was my crush too! So sad for his family.

Oh no - I was only watching a documentary on YouTube about the BCR a few days ago. 65, no age

Very sad, he was just a couple of years older than me, 65 is not very old. I went to see the BCR in 1975, I was 17, I wanted to see them when I was about 15 but wasn't allowed.

Me too. So sad. He meant a lot to me when I was 10. Absolutely part of my childhood.

No and he seemed pretty young at heart. Fit and active. Planning the next tour. He used to do lots of posts to social media just walking and talking etc. It’s really shocking he’s gone because he was a huge part of my- often very traumatic- childhood.

I am really upset, I was convinced as a young girl (5ish) that when I grew up I would be married to him - my first crush too!!

I saw him a few years ago with his Bay City Rollers band and he was great - I happened to be very near the stage door and got to speak to him and tell him of my childhood dreams of marriage to him!! He said it was lovely and gave me a big hug and a kiss on the cheek - a really nice man!

Have been listening to BCR much of today. RIP Les ❤️
