underwear for 15 year old son with sweaty bottom recommendations please!

DS15 has just come and told me he is struggling with embarrassment due to sweating at school, sweaty bottom.

I remember the grimness of those plastic school chairs when you stood up and there was that awful damp mark..... apparently he's actually had a mark on his bum :(

We need to buy new underwear - is it cotton I want or bamboo?

I would say 100% cotton with no lycra etc

100% cotton, or bamboo (but of extra absorption there). Is is wearing briefs or boxers? If briefs, could he try boxers? Thinking it might add a little ventilation to the area. Are his trousers loose enough?

Step One advertise a lot.. All very manly but emphasise practical issues.

He could use a good antiperspirant on the areas that are sweaty.

Below the belt do a range of products for men to keep the below the belt are pa fresh - including an antiperspirant.

If he has a hairy bum he could shave or trim. DH has to do that regularly otherwise he tends to soak into his jeans

Make sure his trousers are cotton as well.
