Hi quick question about dryers , my washer dryer has given up so I’ve purchased a new washing machine and looking for a dryer I’ve narrowed it down to Candy CSC9DF / candy GVSC9DG or the indesit IDC8T3B. Does anyone have any of these and can tell me pros and cons ? From reading reviews seen a few complaints about the candy’s being very noisy(but then other reviews saying how quite they are 🙈) or does anyone have any other recommendations ? Ideally under £300ish

I had a candy and really wouldn’t recommend tbh. It got super hot sometimes and occasionally melted fleeces and the like and took forever to dry a full load of anything. I now have a Bosch series 6 condenser and it’s fantastic in comparison and costs a fraction to run. It was ridiculously expensive for a dryer but I now think worth every penny.

Thanks for replying I've read so many mixed reviews on candy it's very off putting 😬. I was looking at Bosch's though sadly the series 6 is out the price range just now . Is your heat pump one are they worth the extra cost ?

Have a look at Blomberg. Available from your local Euronics store. You should be able to get one for £300-£400 and they come with 3 or 5 year guarantees so you know you don’t need to budget for that time at least.
