I’ve just found a lovely pile of dead carpet beetles at the window in our attic. Has anyone managed to get rid of them?
The attic is floor boarded and I use it as an office space, it’s not got a huge amount of stuff in it, bare rickety old floorboards, but there’s eve storage on all four sides some of which I can’t access... no idea what’s even in half of it, some boxes of stuff from when we moved in a few years back but empty for the most part. Would it be entirely unreasonable to just Chuck in some of those smoke bombs thingies under the eves and put down some of the carpet beetle strips and hope for the best or do I need to burn the house down? There’s no evidence of them at the window in the stairs that lead up to the attic or anywhere else in the house so I suspect (hope!) they’re just up here.
