Debenhams Closing Down Sale

Hi everyone,

just seen on facebook that there are a lot of debenhams store closing down with lots of discounts on children's ware.... I think it's buy on get one free and it's half price too

Does anyone think it would be worth going in to get some clothes and what not for my nephews and nieces? I look after them a lot and they're constantly getting muddy in the garden or spilling something on them.

I'm not to familiar with the stores but I know my local one in Bangor is closing on the 4th does anyone have any experience with Debenhams clothing?

Any help is appreciated!

Quality is ok and size tends to be on generous side. However I doubt there would be much left worth having or in season.

I've always bought a decent amount of debenhams clothes for my dd. Even at half price supermarkets will probably work out cheaper if all you are after is clothes for playing around in. There's no harm in looking though. It's probably worth you having a look on the website at the sort of things they have

By now they are probably down to the dreggs and miss matched shoes.
It's ironic people only want to shop somewhere when it's gone bust and then complain the "High St is dying".

Kids clothes are lovely quality at Debenhams. But we didn’t bother last weekend as the queue to get in was horrendous. Doubt there will be much left now.

They were queuing round the block to get into our local Debenhams, some were there for hours.

dayswith such a shame all those keen customers weren't so keen when the company was financially struggling.

There is loads of kids clothing still in our local Debenhams more then what there was before Christmas.

I haven't brought anything in there recently but always be good quality: reasonable priced. I wouldn't travel far to go to one tbh.

Sainsbury's sales are always worth looking though for kids clothes got a winter coat in there once for £5 and its been passed on to my nephew so got my money's worth.

Ours hasn't reopened but even before the last lockdown it was a mismatch of shite.

Shame I did used to buy the blue zoo brand kids clothes.

I went to the Debenhams at lakeside because I loved shopping there. All they had was crap. Very disappointed.
