I need recommendations pls, Europe, lakeside

Hi all

I am hoping someone will have some recommendations for me.....

I am looking to book a week away
Europe
Can fly or drive
25C temp minimum in school holidays
Ideally some sort of lakeside self catering, where the kids can swim, we can laze by the lake, no entertainment or anything but ideally some kids around so my two can play football or whatever. This is just a vision though, somewhere not necessarily lake side might fit the bill.
Calm, relaxing but a bit of life. Absolutely no fighting for sunbeds.

Can anyone recommend anywhere? This is for next year. Thanks

Masurian Lake District in Poland (there are family camps where you can stay in a cabin and do paddle boating, etc.)

Spreewald, about 100km south of Berlin is magnificent.

Lago di Maggiore - northern Italy
Chiemsee or Schliersee in Bavaria
Mondsee or Attersee in Austria
Lake Annecy in France

Lake Bled or Lake Bohinj both in Slovenia.

Thanks all!! Great suggestions and I have just on impulse and helped by @Justmuddlingalong booked an apartment on lake bled! Went there many years ago just with DH and we talk about it all the time. Hope it lives up to the memories

Yay! We went 4 or 5 years ago, just as a couple and there was plenty to do, loads for families. The lido on the lake sounds just what your looking for. I'm very envious.

Seen you had booked somewhere but I would also suggest Lake Biscaross near Arcachon in France It's a beautiful lake that has a sandy bottom not a muddy bottom . You can walk out for miles and only be upto your knees . It's lovely. Enjoy Lake Bled OP
