What is the most moisturising moisturiser?

My whole body is scaly. I have chronic dry skin (have seen drs over the years - not interested)

I’ve decided to make a serious attempt to tackle it once and for all. I’m going to religiously exfoliate and moisturise regularly

It’s going to take quite a quantity of moisturiser. Any suggestions for the very best one? Also how does one exfoliate?

You might need to start with a gentle all over exfoliator:

Oats (basic)
Coarse salt (basic)
Olive oil (get the most basic/cheapest for this)

Mix together and apply to body after being in the bath for 10mins. Then wash off before leaving the bath ( messy clean up afterwards unfortunately).

Then apply a sensitive cream, such as Palmers cocoa butter (perfume free is probably best).

My no skin is very dry and i get some success by putting oil on in the shower. I turn the shower off and put oil on my wet skin and massage it in. Then I take off the excess with a towel and put aveeno or any other rich moisturiser on top to lock in the oil.

I would go with a hyaluronic serum followed by CeraVe for the face, Palmers cocoa butter for the body, Body Shop Hemp handcream for the hands, and Burts Bees for the lips.
Use very gentle products to wash.

Great suggestions. Thanks all. I’m going to start with blue nivea as I actually have a huge unused pot. Will work my way through the suggestions :)

Except Palmer’s cocoa butter. That’s the smell of morning sickness to me Envy

Cerave cleaner and moisturiser on your fave and Aveeno dermexa on your body. Highly recommend.

If you're scaly you could have a condition called ichthyosis. I have it, and use E45 religiously on my hands. Or Diprobase when it gets bad. I also use a basic aqueous cream on my feet.

Moo goo full cream moisturiser. Available from Holland and Barrett and their own online shop. Also started selling in other pharmacies.

For all those suffering with eczema and other skin issues, can I please recommend neutragena visibly renew.
It has quite literally changed my life!
My skin would burn and itch after a shower a pretty much all day and night, the pain would literally take my breath away and I just wanted to cry with the frustration of it. I've tried all the usual creams and emollients which slightly helped BUT the visibly renew body lotion has transformed my skin.
When I first started using it I had scabs and welts from itching but from the first use the results were amazing. I'm actually contemplating putting fake tan on for the first time in 3 years. 😊🤞
I almost didn't want to recommend it for fear it might run out in the shops!

I literally just posted this on another thread about showing every day.
