After School Club/Sent Home to Self Isolate

Before half term DD2 in Y5, was sent home to self isolate as a child in her bubble tested positive. Totally understand, although not really happy that the bubble is the whole year, 3 classes, she didn't have any contact with the class. But as I understand that transmission can be spread easily, kept DD2 at home.

Just got a, reminder that I needed to pay after school club for the weeks that she missed due to having to self isolate.

I know it's not the schools fault, but it's not mine either.

What have others done?

We don't use after school club for older one, but for nursery days when we've had to self isolate, we have paid as normal. I see it as a sick day. If you would normally pay for sick days, I think it's the same.
