We're getting married in Gretna Green in September. I've been told we're only 10 mins away in a taxi from the centre of Carlise so I'm planning to venture into town on the Friday night for a few drinks/meal. I like the idea of something informal, wine bar/nice pub, nothing clubby or too young, we're 50 yolds.
Can anyone recommend somewhere along those lines that they've been too please as I know I'll have to book due to there being a few of us.
