Most surprising thing you've found in your baby's nappy?

Just changed my baby's nappy to find a tiny pink and yellow 'you're a star' sticker in their poop!!! Oops.

What have you found in your baby's nappy that probably shouldn't have been there?

One of mine used to regularly put things in his nappy - so there were all sorts.

But my favourite nappy tale was that when I was about 19 I had a BBQ at home for friends. One friendA bought another friendB who had kids. We got games out for the kids to play - guess who, connect 4, down fall. On packing up the games we couldn't find some downfall pieces. I always look after them, so searched quite hard to find them as was a bit disappointed when I didn't.
The following morning I received a call from my friendA....to say that when they had got home and changed the nappy on the baby they found the missing pieces from down fall!!

Thank you for reminding me of a wonderful memory - FriendB has now been my friend for about 27 years, and that toddler has grown up into the most beautiful young lady.

Glitter. Lots of glitter.

Was never sure if he'd eaten lots of it at nursery and had glittery poo as a result or if it just got into his nappy while playing in nursery (gets everywhere like sand) and so was already in there before he pooed when he got home.

I’m a childminder and a few years ago I changed a nappy of a child & found a huge very long piece of twine in their poo. I knew it hadn’t come from my house. Mentioned it to the parents & Mam just laughed & said “I wondered where that twine was”. I was shocked.

She was a week old, no idea how it got there.

If you put edible glitter on cakes and toddler has some, you get glittery poos in their nappy! (They dont smell any better Blush)

A peg - thankfully not eaten! My fault as a sleep deprived laundry-rusher. Can't have been comfy though, poor thing.

Dh used to play a game of hiding things with ds, things like a ball up ds's top or down his trouser leg.
One day ds had pooed and I changed his nappy, onky to find a pair of socks covered in poo in there! Dh never played that game again and the socks were sacrificed and just went in the bin!
