Swim jacket or arm bands for age 2 DD

Which is best? Will she turn face down if not holding her in a jacket? My DS had arm bands at that age, but now has a jacket which was sent from Australia by some relatives. Any recommendations if a jacket is ok for age 2.

Swim jackets are better as they don't impede the motion from the arms. I used them until the DCs could comfortably touch the bottom of the pool.

We got ours at Decathlon. DS2 definitely wore his 2-4. DS1 probably wore it at the same age and I held DS2 prior to that.
Both had baby swim lessons anyway so were used to moving themselves in water.

We used a Swimfin. It doesn't get in the way, allows them into a flatter position to swim, and no risk of puncture. They also look pretty cool, so DCs were happy to wear it.
We tried swim discs and inflatable arm bands, but the fin was better. We didn't try the vests as they always look so bulky and uncomfortable.
