Im 14 weeks today and ive started to get a pain/ache in my right lower side of stomach (near belly button but more to the right side) and right side and also my back. Its not severe pain just achy and quite uncomfortable. It comes and goes its not there all the time neither is the back pain etc this normal? Also still cant find my uterus ive tried so many times but cant find it. Also belly is still so soft and podgy. Anyone else experience any of these?

At 14w your uterus is still quite low down

Have you spoken to your midwife?

romdowa · 21/04/2021 16:55

Could you be constipated ?

Starshapeddreams · 21/04/2021 16:56

I'm also 14 weeks - with my second baby. No advice regarding the pains - could be your ligaments stretching?
With my first I was 20 weeks before I could feel my uterus- my belly was too soft before then, so I wouldn't worry about that!

Thank you ladies for your advice back pain is gone today maybe the way ive been sitting or lying etc as i suffer back pain before pregnancy anyway. And thank you for experiences on the uterus am hoping that's the case and theres nothing wrong. No pains today had a few weird feelings in belly this morning and few cramps but no pain etc today. Will talk to midwife when shes back off holiday. But thank you for advice in meantime

Call the midwife triage number at your hospital. They can let you know if they think you should come in for a reassurance scan. I had to have one at seven weeks after some odd discharge, everything was fine but I felt much better afterwards.

@Lozzaa4 it's so hard waiting for the bump to come! I was 28 weeks before I had a bump last time! My neighbours didn't know we were pregnant till we brought DD home.
Hope all goes well for you, any bad pain or bleeding please do get checked out don't wait.
