Does anywhere have garden furniture in stock?

I fear I have left it too late. Everywhere obvious is out of stock.

I want an outdoor dining set. Round table basically for 4 but can squeeze in a fifth. Ideally with a hole for a parasol but that's not the end of the world.

Chairs need to be comfy ish so some kind of cushion/seat pad. Wood ideally but deffo not plastic.

Budget wise I'd prefer not to spend much more than £600 but could stretch a bit.

I can find loads that fit the bill but every bloody set is out of stock. Trolled around garden centres and they have nothing. Places like B&Q and Homebase all out of stock. Have gone through Wayfair and found a couple of possible sets but I don't love them and have seen better for the price so I don't want to spend my cash on something that's not exactly what I want just for the sake of it. Even IKEA - great set but not available.

First world problem I totally appreciate but where else can I look?

How about this, not sure if you could squeeze 6 round it. No cushions though.

I got a set off eBay- new but it was expensive. There’s a national shortage but I think they’re expecting stock soon.

I've had the same issue OP!

I saw loads of things in Argos that I liked but were out of stock.

Have you been to your local garden centres? Dobbies, Azure etc? Ours have a good selection of rattan stuff in atm which is where I ended up getting mine.

I've just discovered Manomano.co.uk and it's great. It's a shop front for a whole lot of smaller brands and has lots of reasonably priced home and garden stuff. I've just bought two garden rockers and a side table set and it's lovely 😊

@pinkearedcow you absolute beauty!

Exactly what we needed, right size and got great reviews so I've bought it.

Oh, I am so pleased I could help! I noticed it this morning when I was browsing for a parasol. Guess what- the one I wanted was out of stock.

La Redoute does, ordered a table and 4 set this week. Delivery won't be super fast, but no indication of stock problems.

IKEA?

EmmaStone · 21/04/2021 17:18

We've got garden furniture ordered in early March, initially expected delivery early April, now told mid-May at earliest - lots of hold ups due to container issues (Suez/Brexit).

We have had luck for teak furniture from a local company that normally does the county shows, which of course haven't happened last year or this, so he drives around finding people with gardens and knocking on doors. Got a lovely teak bench and mature olive tree last month this way! greendalefurniture.com (but prices will be inflated - he was offering 40% off list price, plus you can always try to haggle).

None of our local garden centres have stock - they aren't taking orders and they won't sell their displays either

LadyEloise · 21/04/2021 17:53

Try rathwood.co.uk

Was in my local B&Q over the weekend, they had a lot. Have you been in to a store and enquired if they can deliver?

Mirrorxx · 21/04/2021 18:03

I’ve just got one from IKEA. It kept saying out of stock but I kept checking and managed to order one
