Morning all thought I might pass some time here...
Trying to make an appointment with the GP for a routine blood test. I have been on hold for 18 mins and am currently 8th in the queue.

When do you think they might answer the phone?

Our surgery has a cut off of 12 and after that you have to call back then next day. I usually get through just after 12🙄🙄

Wouldn’t mind but they sent me a letter demanding that I make the appointment, I dropped off a repeat prescription request on Monday & wasn’t allowed to make the appointment face to face.

I once spent 55 minutes on hold. Got to number 1 in the queue.... then they cut me off!

Jumped from 3rd to 1st quickly & now have an appointment for beginning of May.

I was very nice to the receptionist

It's ridiculous I've just been on hold for 24 minutes ordering a repeat prescription
