Childminders who've had depression, please talk to me

I'm in the process of registering with ofsted as a childminder. My GP called to say she was completing my medical declaration form and needed to put on about me being seen by a psychiatrist 20 years ago. I hadn't had a chance to disclose this myself as my part of the firm only asked about the last five years.

I'm so worried that my mental health issues of 20 years ago (no recurrence since) will prevent me from registering as a childminder, and would also have the knock on effect of me not being able to work with children in any setting in the future. It's honestly all I want to do. I've worked so hard to get everything ready - house, paperwork, courses and CPD, memberships, insurance, I've spent a fortune.

Please can anyone who's been through the process reassure me?
