Has anyone had cats who have had a radical personality change?

We have had four noisy teens and a feral cat who has gone from absent, unfriendly, anxious older kitten to a rather serious cat who is now glued to us 24/7. He will only sit on us if we are asleep though

I would have thought it's that he feels settled now? It can take them a long time

It’s quite a surprise. Has anyone any cat personality change stories?

My cat was very aloof for the first 10 years of her life and then became very cuddly for the last 5 years - only with me though, and only when I was sitting on the sofa, and only after 10pm.

When we was at our previous house, my cat would never come indoors. We had to feed her in the outside shed and keep an eye on her there. She was practically feral

We moved and now we struggle to get her out the house. She has her food and water in the house and has now gone back to a litter tray. She’s also incredibly affectionate though wary of strangers

We have a 10 month old kit-teen. He was glued to me for the first four months, I hit nothing done as he constantly wanted to sleep on me

He changed just befor he was neutered, became alloof and doesn't like being touched and stroked and will run off from you

He's going through his cat teens and is just like my 15 year old .... doesn't want to be bothered with his Mama and certainly no affection
