Period type cramping 37 weeks

So today I started to get little sharp niggles of pain but went away shortly after I started to get very bad period cramps then lead to diarrhoea which is pretty strange as I’ve been constipated for 4 weeks! Pains eased off after but have came back again now with stabbing pains across abdomen and sore pressure in my back bum. Bump feels very tight and uncomfortable anyone has this?

This sounds like things are starting to get moving. The tightness could be Braxton Hicks. If you get more cramps or strange feelings, start timing them to see if they're regular.

I'm 37+3 and have loose stools, so hoping I've not too long!

Still here pains have completely gone 🙁 thought it was the start of things though I still have loose stools today but no other symptoms unfortunately. Hope he makes an arrival soon! x

It does sound like the beginning of labour- your body does have diarrhoea beforehand ( mine did) in preparation so to speak.it’s not unusual for it to stop start either.Good luck

Having really bad period cramps now just came over me and bad pressure feels like I need to poop but can’t? The pains are coming 8 minutes apart

I'd keep an eye and ring triage if they get worse or closer together. Good luck

I'm 38 weeks exactly and started having this a few days ago, period pains on and off and an upset stomach. Unfortunately my examination yesterday showed nothing has happened at all 😅

Being induced today though! If the pain/tightenings have a pattern definitely call triage x
