OK, this could be potentially super embarrassing.
I "dialed in" to a large Zoom meeting via the Zoom app, didn't use WiFi as it was unstable. Hadn't used dialing in function before. I was on mute when in the Zoom app, so I assumed I was muted. Also I think the organizer set everyone automatically on mute.
However, a few minutes after dialing in, I realized that on the iPhone key (the screen you get when calling someone by phone) you have the option to press the "mute" option. So I was basically not on "mute" according to the dialing in screen. This made me really confused (and nervous!).
So my question is, was I muted or not during the time I dialed in? I can easily tell if my mics on or not when using WiFi and seeing the zoom screen, but when dialing in, I'm just not sure.
Anyone with experience, please enlighten (and hopefully reassure) me as I can't currently think of anything else! I'd be horrified if I was unmuted and everyone could hear me, with my name shown (I'm not sure whether the name is shown when dialing in, or just a number?)
