If you move into a house, and the next door neighbour is running a business from their home, should this be disclosed?

When you buy a home, should you be told if the next door neighbor is running a business from their house. (That means people are coming and going)

In this instance it's a dog groomers.

My neighbours weren't told I am a childminder. Don't think anyone needs to be told.

Wouldn't you notice when you viewed the house? I always drive by houses at all hours if I'm interested in buying, just to get a feel for the area. Dog groomer would have been a pita for me when my DD had a phobia but it doesn't strike me as something they would bother saying. There is no legal requirement to tell you, only if there has been a dispute.

Wouldn't have thought so?

No, unless it’s illegal, it’s none of your business really.
Sorry.

Thanks everyone.
