Amazon Prime - rated a U, but 15 on BBFC

We found an Amazon Prime programme that was rated a U but when watching with the family we had to turn it off - most definitely not suitable for DC 10 and 13. We then checked the BBFC rating and it was a 15. We've complained to Amazon and they said they would check their ratings but I thought it worth mentioning it here too. Don't rely on Amazon classifications!

Which programme was it?

It was an Agatha Christie but not of the cosy early evening variety! 2018 Ordeal by Innocence 3 parter. Not horrific but more bad language and violence than you'd get in a Joan Hickson/David Suchet version.

That doesn't sound very Agatha Christie, not a true adaptation of the book then

Indeed. No massive harm done but we will be verifying ratings in future rather than relying on those stated by Amazon. I don't believe it will be a one off mistake.

And while a good watch for adults, they completely changed the plot including the murdererwhich annoyed me rather.
