Has anyone got the paddling pool out already for the DC?

No DC but it's 12 degrees here. Brrr.

No but my children have been nagging me for weeks about it!

Next door have one out for the dog. The gardens are real sun traps here though - no breezes. My garden thermometer says it's 20°.

We had the slip and slide out last week, they wanted a water fight. It was freezing! They had fun, but I think they spent longer warming up in the shower afterwards.

DD is adamant that she wants the paddling pool out and keeps on asking for it, but i tell her it's not warm enough yet.

Waiting for it to be a bit warmer

God no, I hate the bloody thing
Takes ten times longer to fill it up then they spend in it before complaining they're cold... I'm going to wait until they're asking for it

My 4yo has been asking since March and the answer is a firm no here. I think it needs to be 20 plus but ideally 25.

This time last year, yes. But currently it’s 11 degrees maximum here, down to below freezing overnight. Absolutely not. I’d let them literally paddle in the sea or something but I’m not getting out the pool and going to the effort of filling it until it’s warm enough for them to get properly wet.

I booked to go to the local leisure centre swimming pool instead, much warmer!
