Nurses and other hcp how would you want to be thanked

Hi all,

My eldest daughter has been poorly this last year or so and having various treatments, ops and interventions.

She has seen lots of hcp in this time and had amazing care.

A few have gone above and beyond in my opinion.

Her consultant, 2 specialist nurses and a play therapist have been fabulous. So caring, taking time to ring me to check in even on their days off! and have supported not only my daughter but me too. They have made this shitty thing more bearable for dd. I want to thank them properly but not sure how. I have obviously said thank you a lot but it doesn't feel enough.

What would you like if you were these hcp.

I work in social care so understand there are rules about accepting gifts etc..

Thanks

Honestly a handwritten personal letter is something I’d cherish forever. Makes the job worth it

I agree.
A lovely handwritten card is plenty.

A genuine thank you is lovely. A written card is extra wonderful as you can submit it as feedback for revalidation (particularly if you are descriptive about what you appreciated).
