York restaurants

I've just booked a few days in York in the summer as a break for me and DH. I know it's months away but I'm really excited!

It's for DH's 50th, which was last year but postponed for obviously reasons. Does anyone have any recommendations of lovely restaurants in the city centre we could look into booking?

Any other York tips welcomed also!

We really liked the look of Los Moros and Cafe No 8 for our anniversary meal but neither are open on Sundays. Well Cafe No 8 is but only early dining.

The Rattle Owl

Roots or Skosh for something special. Roots has recently been awarded its first Michelin Star and would be my preference of the two :)

Los Moros and The Rattle Owl are both fab too. Depends how fancy you want to be but you won't go wrong with the food at any of those mentioned.
