UK Holiday Inspiration - Similar to Woolacombe

I want to plan some trips in the UK but I need inspiration. I love Woolacombe and it's my go to place but I wondered if there were any other options worth investigating. I like the immense size of the beach and how there is lots of peace and quiet. I wouldn't want to go somewhere very lively at the moment, but it would be great to visit a few places like nice country pubs and National Trust gardens.

I also love Cornwall, however it's too far to travel at the moment. I am Midlands based - so have a pretty good reach of the UK but wouldn't want to travel more than 3 hours at the moment.

I look forward to hearing of some of your favourite places.

Poppit Sands, Cardigan/Cardigan Bay would fit your bill I think.

Pendine Sands near Tenby, or Black Rock Sands near Portmadog might both fit the bill

@FlibbertyGiblets thanks, I've always wanted to try Wales. I'll look it up!

Not sure really as Woolacombe offers 3 miles with Puttsborough the other end, so lots of quieter parts of the beach even at the height of season . So long as you have parking!

Wales always looks like it has long beaches.

Newquay and Perranporth too. Still think Woolacombe out does them. Croyde or Saunton. Less options for accommodation though.
