Does anyone have bamboo sheets?

I need a new set of sheets for summer. I have one good quality set of cotton ones but I'm tempted by bamboo - it seems like they are quite good value compared to high thread count cotton ones.

Does anyone have a set - would you recommend them? They need to be relatively cosy but good for hot weather. We use brushed cotton ones in the winter.

Silk sheets are the dream but I can't really afford them (plus my cat would probably shred them as he seeks to have a sixth sense for picking out the most expensive fabrics in the house and ruining them).

Yes, I do from M&S. Very pleased with them, keep you cool and have a lovely feel. We also have the pillow cases too. Even DH commented on!! Not expensive either

Ah, great. All I have to go on is my bamboo socks which I like but not quite the same! I'll check out the m and s ones

Got the M&S ones too. So far so good. Kept softness. Very nice.

I changed all my bedlinen, pillows, duvet and socks to bamboo

I have bamboo socks and like that. However my bedding revelation is actually 100% linen. Love it

Ooh I’m really interested in this - also considering tencel bedlinen which is made from eucalyptus I think. Has anyone any experience of that. In the UK most tencel bedlinen seems to be a 50:50 (or less) blend with cotton and while I love the feel of my current cotton bedlinen I’m interested in trying more environmentally friendly alternatives.

I don't find my bamboo socks warm enough.

Got mine from IKEA

The only slight downside is that they are a bit slippy when I am sitting up in bed - which is equally an upside when turning over during the night
