If you have short hair, glasses, stylish intellectual look? ...

What clothes do you wear and where do you buy them? Just looking for ideas really as I keep defaulting back to jeans and t-shirts. I've also just scrolled through about 5000 ASOS dresses and tops modelled by longhaired ultra-feminine sex-goddesses wearing clothes I'd feel ridiculous in.

I have short (pixie cut) hair and glasses, and got so sick of the 'jeans and a top' default outfit that I banned myself from wearing jeans in Jan, and haven't looked back!
I have been wearing... jumper dresses, a pinafore style dress (much nicer than it sounds!), short denim skirt, chino style trousers, a denim shirt-dress, and a range of tops/blouses/shirts.

I love both Yumi and Sugarhill Boutique (both online) and Oliver Bonas (in the sale).

Once it gets too warm for jumper dresses (which I have LOVED) wearing, I'll bring out some nice culotte-style trousers from last year, and probably get some more wide-leg trousers. I seem to remember spending most of last summer in shorts, but can't imagine we'll be that lucky again this year.

Do you watch the Sewing Bee? They heroed the Buffet Dress this week. Never heard it called that before, but they are very on trend. The style doesn't do much for me, but I do have one and love wearing it - with a cropped denim jacket, I can get away with it.

To caveat... I haven't bought from Sugarhill or Yumi for a year or so, because I've been making my own clothes, so I'm not familiar with their current ranges. But I loved them before, and wear all my previous stuff from them.

I did just have a quick look on the Sugarhill website and it reminded me I used to buy almost exclusively in the sale! I have a number of jumpers similar to their Rita style, but would never pay £52 for them!

This is the kind of thing I've worn loads though www.sugarhillbrighton.com/collections/knitwear/products/evie-side-stripe-knit-dress

Couldn't resist a quick peak at Yumi too. I'd totally wear some of their jumpsuits! Their stuff seems to be designed for people WAY taller than me (5'4"), so their full length jumpsuits are comical on me (I ordered about 10 last year to try on, and all were too long), but I'd be all over those calf length ones. Madly, I'm now off to google a sewing pattern for the same thing, even though the pattern/material will cost a lot more than buying the jumpsuit with their 30% off!

Why do people do the writing with the crossing out? I didn’t read further.

I'm not sure about the stylish intellectual bit... but I stopped wearing jeans about 18 months ago and only wear trousers. Usually ankle grazers I nearly always wear trainers, O have loads. I love slash neck and batwing sleeve jumpers/tops because the hide my fat stomach Grin.
If I wear wide legged tousers I wear them long.

I have short hair (pixie cut) and glasses I channel a stylish pottery teacher look. Today I am wearing dark blue dungarees, a boy cut t shirt and a mans cardigan, Toast for the dungarees and t shirt and mens wear Johnstons of Elgin for the cardi. All bought in the sale. Foot wear is birkenstocks natch 😁

I have shaved hair, glasses, short arse bookish vibes. I like dresses from Blackmilk paired with boots and leggings. They’re not cheap, but they last. I have ones which are 5 years old, worn every week for work and still showing no sign of wear and tear.
