News this afternoon that Helen McCrory has died of cancer, aged 52. What a loss. Thoughts with her family.

It's so incredibly sad, her poor family. She was the most incredible actor, I loved her in Peaky Blinders.

She was extraordinary. Her Medea at the National a few years ago was absolutely breathtaking.

That is so sad, she always played such strong invincible characters, such a fabulous actor. She was the best thing about Peaky Blinders.

Completely gutted when I heard this awful news. I so admired her, what an incredible woman. Just heartbreaking for her loved ones.
