Napisan disposal

Does anyone know how to safely dispose of Napisan that has solidified? Can it be put in general waste?

I have had a box of napisan go hard , I just crushed it back to powder and used it as normal.
I can't imagine why you couldn't just stick it in the bin if you wanted though?
