Travelled in the 1970s as a single adult working my way round the world (like my mother who did the same thing in the 1950s)
Started a career in IT in the 1970s
Worked on projects with MPs in the early 1980s including one which a member of the royal family was heavily involved with.

I've been part of personal VIP protection teams that have quashed several kidnap attempts and can drive cars in close convey and can still put a larger person on their arse in hand to hand combat despite being only 5'3" . I'm a really life gran too.

Travelled alone in the 1980's - settling for a while in the Bahama's. Worked hard, travelled, lived in different places...also I am still working and enjoying life. I have looked at gransnet - but decided to stay here.
