Am I just lazy?

I'm off sick from work because its just too much. Single parent to 3 year old. dad useless and takes him at the most inconvenient times so no break really for me. I just cant be arsed doing anything.

That doesn't sound lazy to me. Small children are tiring and their care is relentless.

Do you have any family or friends nearby?

Start by picking one thing you think you could manage. Make your bed in the morning. Or wash and moisturise your face and get properly dressed. Or wash up before you go to bed. Something small that won't take long but that you can point to and will make you feel better.

It's easy to say, but try to appreciate your little boy's gorgeousness occasionally

I do have family help but I cant tell them this.

Is your son in childcare while you're off sick? You can use the time to concentrate on getting well.

The important thing is not to beat yourself up about it. Some of us had houses that were a tip and got really inactive even though we had a supportive partner and didn't go out to work!

Start small. Put a load in the washing machine. Go for a walk, touch a tree, sit on the grass. Eat a carrot. Light a smelly candle. Have a shower. Put some music on.

Hes with family. I asked for extra days in nursery but they cant accommodate them

And I need to go back on Tuesday to work. I hate staying off
