What's your favourite (non-romantic) song?

I have just got much more interested in listening to music. I am looking for songs I could ask Alexa to play .just wondered what people's thoughts were.

1. What's your favourite unromantic song? This is just because most songs are about love, so to get a bit of variety.

I think that Pink and Nate Ruess singing just give me a reason fits both categories.
Me and my DD used to sing this all the bloody time.

Non romantic- I'm not sure actually. I go to say one and then realise that in one way or another it's about love... Who'd have thought that would be so difficult to pick! I love a movie song, Express from Burlesque, Danger Zone from Top Gun.... Love a good soundtrack.

Romantic- Andra Day: Rise Up. That song got me through last year (pandemic, failed IVF, all sort of other shit).

Golden Brown - The Stranglers.

I'm not a big fan of romantic songs.

Diamonds on the Soles of her Shoes - Paul Simon. Never fails to cheer me

(non romantic and both sound unintentionally Christmassy to me)

Why you have to be so rude ? - can't remember the artist and not everybody likes it.

At first listen may sound like a romantic song but actually about drug addiction

Virtually any Bowie song. He rarely wrote (as opposed to covered) truly romantic songs - which makes the ones he did write very special.

Pretty much all the songs I like are non-romantic. I’m not really a fan of romantic anything.
