Propanolol withdrawal and rapid HR - normal?

Sitting watching TV felt a bit jittery . Trying to withdraw from
Propranolol (taken for anxiety), had cut dose down to 20mg in morning and bedtime from 40 .

Pulse is now 120-150 at rest - according to phone, manually I’m less sure and think it’s about 85 .

Possible that my phone just isn’t playing ball and it’s actually a lot slower? Feel fine just very anxious - have taken a propranolol again and can’t see this withdrawal going well !

If it's for anxiety I'd stop measuring your heart rate. I took propranolol 40mg twice a day for anxiety and now take it on an as needed basis.... although probably restarting regular doses as I've had a lot of stress lately! When I stopped, I dropped the evening tablet as I had more anxious physical feelings in the morning. Are you ready to stop taking them?

Have you halved both morning and evening dose in one go?
Would it perhaps be better to halve just one of them, stabilise, and then halve the other?
