What spider is this?

Is it just a run of the mill house spider? Or some dangerous predator? It's currently hanging out in the bathroom and
I've convinced myself it's escaped out of a pack of bananas I bought from the market and is now lurking, waiting for the kids get in the bath before it strikes
It just seems so muscly and evil looking!

I kid you not, a false widow we had living on our stairs came back about 2 days after I (very kindly, considering I dont like the buggers) put him outside. Same step, same spider. Back out again he went!
