Dd8 what to wear under clothes

Hi all,

My eldest is almost 8. She says her chest area is getting sore when wearing her school polo tops.

I think maybe she is a bit old for vests and its getting warmer and she hates being too warm. What about those crop top bras or is she too young? What do other dc wear under clothes?

Thanks

Definitely not to young for crop tops. Obviously you don't need to say, but if her chest area is sore because her breasts are growing then a crop top is best. It will offer support and protection. There are lots of different types so you might have to get a few for her to try and see what she's comfortable with. They feel a little odd at first but she'll soon hopefully get used to them.

Crop tops from M&S mainly. She didn't want anything that was bra shaped at the front but was happy with the tops.

H&M do really cute crop tops.

My 9 year old wears crop tops, not every day but mainly on pe days when she is getting changed although i think she will start needing to wear them more soon.

Mine is now 10 and from 8 she was wearing m and s seamfree white crop tops. The material os like lycra so it supports. She has such sensitive skin and freaks out by proper bra cups but these were a success. They look like a sporta bra and very heat under school uniform no weird outlines.

BobbuhT · 15/04/2021 11:52

Veey neat not heat.

My eldest is nearly 15 and was wearing crop tops at around 8/9. M&S do lovely seam free ones. I used to get her polo tops from there too, they used to do nicer feeling cotton ones which were better the the rougher fabric ones.
