Starting a new job which requires my first DBS check.
The application form asks for my mother’s maiden name - why? I am wondering whether I am permanently linked to her somehow on their records? I am NC with her so I don’t want any connection to her! I don’t live with her, but she has a string of convictions so would that reflect badly on me?
