Job Interview Advice

Hi. I'm going a bit crazy trying to find a new job. This afternoon a recruiter called and said that a company would be emailing me to arrange an interview. I've had no email yet. How long would you give it before going back to the recruiter?
I know I sound desperate. This job would solve pressing money worries. Obviously I don't want the recruiter or company to know that. So help me not look like an impatient crazy lady.

I would say if you haven’t heard by tomorrow lunchtime give them a call. When is the interview?
However even more importantly spend a lot of time preparing for the interview! Have you got a job description? If not ask for one. Spend,a lot of time preparing specific examples of your experience doing the tasks mentioned on it. Practice saying them out loud in a concise way.
Good luck!

I'm not sure when the interview is that was to be arranged by email. I am worrying that the company will have changed their mind and not want to interview me or have been given the wrong contact details etc. Chasing tomorrow lunchtime is a good idea. I was going to wait until Friday but think that's probably too long and the wait will kill me anyway!
