Anyone else struggling to find anywhere to eat out?

Lots of the pubs/restaurants local to us aren't opening as they dont have the outside space.

The ones that are seem to be fully booked up for whenever I try and get a table.

I just want to go out for a nice meal while the weather is lovely but I'm getting cheesed off! Anyone else finding the same?

We went out for lunch on Monday but at a hotel which was really nice, we thought the pubs would be all booked up.

Lots and lots of choice here thankfully. Places half full. We’re Bucks and lots of places have outside bits. Friends in Sussex have lots of choice too.
I guess it depends on where you are. Can you go a little further afield?

It's sunny where we are, but temperatures are still in single figures. I'm not planning on eating out until I can be warm and comfortable.

We only eat as a family and only one of the regular venues is left but has yet to reopen. Two of the pubs/restaurants closed indefinitely during lockdown one. Looking at other places to book and some aren’t open yet due to lack of area. We live rurally though so don’t have a huge choice.

Good idea choosing a hotel @Sparklingbrook. I’ll also take a look at those.

I'm not really sure what you were expecting OP. You need to be a little more organised at the moment. We are planning to go out on 24th and booked our tables for the places we want to go last week.

I felt exactly the same. I really wanted to see family so that was the decider, the hotel had outside heaters, I think a lot of places do. We woke up to snow in the morning but by lunch it was cold but sunny and I was even able to take my coat off with the heaters.

Maybe book for a few weeks time. I sat in a pub garden for one drink yesterday- it's not all its cracked up to be.

I'm NE England, still trying to get warm after sitting out yesterday afternoon for a drink! A bit of sun then cloud but bloomin freezing ❄️❄️

I guess it depends where you are, most pubs and hardly any restaurants have any outside space bigger than a smoking terrace. We went to the pub on Monday but they're booked solid for the next four weeks. And it's bloody freezing.
