Most reliable celebrity chef recipes

I hate planning and looking forward to a meal only for it to turn out a bit crap! I'm a pretty good cook but not great at coming up with my own recipes so end up making the same things regularly.

I want to try some more recipes. Which chef would you recommend? Jamie Oliver, Nigella, etc. I find Delia's stuff a bit dull and have had a few duds using Nigel Slater.

I love Nigella
Ottonlenghi if you have the time and occasional willingness to source less usual ingredients

I do like ottelenghi but not very child friendly so I don't use his recipes often, even though I've got two of his books!

Hugh F-W is my go-to. Have 3 of his books.

Hairy Bikers. Totally reliable recipes and tasty.
I also have a Woman's Institute one which is great!
Ottolenghi isn't always easy on ingredients but the recipes work perfectly.

Agree with the Hugh F-W recommendation too.

Mary Berry
Not s celebrity chef but the NOSH for series are excellent. I often buy them and a set of basic kit for people going into a new life stage.
