International Schools Paris

I was just wondering if anyone had any experience of international schools in Paris.

We are on the verge of moving from London and with lockdown restrictions we are going to have to opt for a school based on an online discussion. Our son is 9 years old and isn’t the most academic. He sits squarely in the middle of his class. I think the rigour of a more traditional school wouldn’t suit him...he is a gentle child who is playful, loves the outside and we are looking for a school that is nurturing as well as focusing on his educational standards.

Any suggestions/experiences would be welcomed.

Many thanks

Dear maxi 01,

We are moving to Paris in July. We visited the ISP in December just before lockdown. Our options were this school , Victor Hugo or BSP based her her needs and profile.
Happy to email you personally .

Lots of DDs friends went here:

Website makes it sound far more hothousey than it actually is. It’s in a nice area of Paris and may be worth a look.

Lovely to hear from you. I kept checking and no one had responded so I thought it had gone unheard.

After lots of thought and a couple of virtual tours we finally plumped for the forest school international. We couldn’t actually complete our visa without confirming the school place.

So we will be based in the west of Paris. We are currently looking for a house in saint germain en lays. Where are you planning on living and did you find a house easily?

Good luck with your move.

I will have a look at the group now. Maybe someone knows about housing coming up! Thanks for your support and advise.

Another group to join is Message Paris. You do have to pay a subscription, but you can meet up with people in your area and get advice on schooling and doctors etc,

Thank you. I’m on it now. Scary exciting.
