Have your feet changed over lockdown?

I haven't really gone anywhere, DH has been doing the shopping and the DC only went back to school yesterday so I've mostly been hanging around in my socks or slip-on FitFlops. At the end of last week I went to my Mum's to help her with something and I wore a pair of shoes that I've had for about three years and they used to be very comfortable. After a couple of hours on my feet in these shoes one foot started cramping and the other foot also felt really confined. I suspect that my (already quite wide) feet have become wider.

Yes this is a thing! My osteopath was talking about it. Walking barefoot makes your feet muscles stronger, which in turn makes them bigger!

I hadn't thought about muscles. I thought that perhaps my feet would naturally be wider except for the fact that the shoes have been shaping them a bit narrower, a little like when women used to bind their feet.

My eyesight has also deteriorated slightly, but that might just be age.
