Blood test for perimenopause?

I had some bloods drawn last week cos I’m early 40s with some signs of menopause.
Just rang the surgery and spoke to one of the lovely staff there who said that something’s been flagged.
I’ve been booked in to see the GP in a few weeks.
I’m slightly panicking that something’s not quite right (apart from perimenopause!).

Does anyone know what things are tested for? Will it just (hopefully) be to do with my withering ovaries/impending cronedom?

I’m having blood taken for the same thing tomorrow. Your GP really should have discussed with you what they are looking for, but it’s nothing to worry about. They’ll be primary looking at your FHS levels, provided you’re not on the pill, and it’s likely you’ll be asked to do another test in a few weeks.
Have a look at the following for more details

I’m always having my thyroid levels checked, plus all the usual b12, iron etc.

I would really recommend doing some research on your own before your appointment, so that you’re in control of possible solutions, including HRT.

Thanks @LastInTheQueue.
I know she’ll be checking for FHS levels (which I know can fluctuate during one’s cycle) but nothing else was explained to me.
I’ve been having migraines, daily nosebleeds, hot sweats, increased anxiety plus other ‘unusual’ symptoms. I spoke to my GP and said I was worried about me perimenopausal.
She said ‘we’ll sort some bloods out. The receptionist will ring you with a phlebotomy appointment’
