I used to convert mine to Avois and use on cheap BA reward flights. Went to Europe a couple of times. Not sure they still do that though!

ceeveebee · 13/04/2021 12:38

I’ve used them to but a family railcard in the past, and also for Alton Towers trips

AMalTiempoBuenaCara · 13/04/2021 12:57

I have just bought an English Heritage membership for me and you can have up to 6 kids on the card who get free entry too.
Cost me £20ish of Tesco vouchers. Depends what you're interested in though obviously!

I bought a denby plate/bowl set a few years ago. Also got tickets to a castle (might have been hever castle?) in Kent.

I used nectar points to reduce the cost on eurostar once too.

itsgettingwierd · 13/04/2021 13:01

I've converted mine to annual passes for attractions before. You get a whole years worth of fun out of them.

Thecrisplover · 13/04/2021 13:06

DD and I go for dinner at Ask with ours.

Gazelda · 13/04/2021 13:09

Many, many years ago I got a one way ticket to New York! Had to pay to come back though

I've got quite a lot which converted to avios points which I'll use for short haul flights at some point.

Now I save up the Clubcard points and will probably spend them on Denby when my kitchen extension is finally complete.

SuperintendentHastings · 13/04/2021 13:10

I bought a load of Denby stuff with mine.

Scootergrrrl · 13/04/2021 13:14

We used the 'triple the value' thing to get magazine subscriptions relating to their particular hobbies for the children as a Christmas present. They LOVED it and it cost £20 each in vouchers rather than the £60 it would have been.

Notthecarwashagain · 13/04/2021 13:15

I was saving mine to put towards a holiday but was worried they'd expire, so I bought some Denby plates and bowls, and a fancy cutlery set which I still haven't used!

somethingonthecarpet · 13/04/2021 13:15

Took family for a,day at Longest a,few years ago. Dh and I got entry to the Eden Project once, and dc used their Blue Peter cards. Also bought a family railcard with them in Feb 2020 so that was actually points wasted because only used it once before we went into lockdown and now it's expired. Might use them next year towards a ferry crossing.

somethingonthecarpet · 13/04/2021 13:16

Longleat, not Longest.

sorryiasked · 13/04/2021 13:19

Railcard
Restaurants so my equally broke friend and I can have a nice evening out (pre covid!)
Local stately home where they have eg supercar events etc

viques · 13/04/2021 13:20

DD bought herself a couple of designer watches when they did a three for one offer.

I get a rail card.

Defender90 · 13/04/2021 13:21

I've changed them to Avios and used them to pay for seat allocation once, then I used them for a lovely full set of Denby.

MrsFionaCharming · 13/04/2021 13:23

I didn’t realise until this thread that they expire! I thought it seemed weird how few I had considering I’ve never used any.

viques · 13/04/2021 13:23

Oh, meant to say the Gucci watches were from the days when you could combine your vouchers, so she had some of mine.

Toomuchleopard · 13/04/2021 13:45

I use them for 3 x the value for the Channel tunnel as i drive to France a couple of times a year.

BlueLobelia · 13/04/2021 13:51

I have just signed up for these. Can i ask a really stupid question? I use the tesco card at the till and get a small discount. Do you accumulate the vouchers as well or do you have to choose?

I was wading through the website, but MNetters always but always explian things better than the small print!

(Sorry for any derailing..... FWIW i only signed up because I read on a recent thread someone used them for the Eurostar!!)

SwimBaby · 13/04/2021 13:51

I’ve had three lovely Mothers Day meals at a local pub that accepts the vouchers. Three course meals for our family of five adults would have cost quite a bit of we’d have to pay.
Magazine subscriptions have been good too.

Freshprincess · 13/04/2021 13:51

Railcard a couple of years ago
Loads of restaurant vouchers
One year there was a boost and I got an almost free iPhone
Most recently I’ve doubled up the vouchers to pay towards mobile bill as I’ve had a few expiring Ones and nowhere to use them.

It doesn’t seem so generous anymore.

Dauphinois · 13/04/2021 13:53

We've just booked the Isle of Wight ferry for a trip in the summer.

Crappyfridays7 · 13/04/2021 13:57

I’ve used them for days out whilst on holiday but most of the attractions are down south (we are in Scotland) so most of the days out/food places aren’t accessible so used mine for a lovely iron griddle pan and Denby dishes. It’s built up again and I really want a casserole dish but the one I like is out of stock

Yes, you will get a letter eventually telling you how many club card points (they are given in vouchers , but are also online) you have accumulated. If you buy petrol, use your Tesco bank card and buy their insurance you also get points.

The deals are available to view online. The x3 deals are often very good value, so the railcard one which costs about £30 in real life you get for £10 worth of vouchers.
